A Tulum bachelorette where nobody chased anybody for money
5 minute read
Nine friends, one boat day, and a payment plan that let each person pay her own way.
The hardest part of a group trip is never the flights. It is the group text where one person fronts the deposit and spends three months collecting from everyone else.
We set the trip up so each of the nine paid her own share directly. No fronting, no reminders, no awkwardness. The maid of honor got to be a friend again instead of a treasurer.
The boat day for nine, turquoise water and a playlist that never stopped, was the photo that ended up framed in four different apartments.
